Here is a selection of our most commonly asked questions, but please do get in touch if your query isn't covered here.

How long does the party run for?

I offer a two hour stress-free party package with a mixture of games, magic and disco.

How much do you charge?

Prices start from £180 for a 2 hour week day party. Please get in touch for a quote.

What areas do you cover?

I'm based in Brighton and offer parties in and around Brighton, Hove, Haywards Heath, Crawley and Eastbourne.

Are you DBS checked?

Yes. Absolutely. You can view my DBS right here.

Are you insured?

Yes. You can view my Public Liability Insurance certificate here.

How much time do you need for set up?

I like to have 45 minutes to get everything ready before your guests arrive but this can be reduced a little if necessary. It takes around 20 minutes for me to pack down and leave the venue.

How do I book a party? How does your booking system work?

Once I have the details of your party (when, where, who etc.) I'll email you a booking form (which can be confirmed online with one click) and also a deposit invoice for £50 (which can be paid online by bank transfer).

You'll also receive a booking form by post to sign and return. It will contain a stamped, addressed envelope to make it super easy. Once I've received these from you, you'll be sent an email confirmation that your booking is secure and a receipt for your payment.

What time should the children eat when I've booked the 2-Hour Stress-Free Party?

The birthday tea will be an hour after the start time of your party.

On the day of your party, Pompom will arrive early to set up, then at the start time of the party we'll have some bubbles, games and music to get everyone involved. These are flexible and allow any late-comers to join in easily.

After around half an hour, the birthday magic show will begin and run until an hour into your party. This is the time to serve food. Pompom will bring the children over to the tables, keep them engaged with table songs and games and make sure everyone's ready to sing Happy Birthday when the cake is brough out. This part of the party usually lasts around 15-20 mins.

Then it's straight on to the disco party and more party games which runs until the end of the party.

Can I put balloons out on the floor for the children?

I strongly recommend that you don't have any balloons in the reach of children during the party. This is not meant to be 'bah humbug' but they do create trip hazards and choking hazards (when burst). They also encourage children to run around screaming and burst them which can upset little guests and really takes away from the entertainment.
